Brand and Content Marketing Executive

We are looking for a dynamic and creative team player, who loves all things to do with content creation and brings fresh ideas. You will focus on growing our brand through creating beautiful content and building relationships with press, brand ambassadors and influencers.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive brand awareness and increase market share to achieve our goal of becoming the go-to brand for British made artisan tiles.
  • Take responsibility for planning content themes to create the promotional calendar and driving the execution of the calendar.
  • Build key relationships with like-minded brands, interior designers and influencers and press contacts.
  • Work closely with Product Development Manager to bring new products to market that set Marlborough Tiles apart from our competitors. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Content planning: work with the wider team to create content themes for the year in line with brand pillars and the new product development schedule.
  • Content management: create a promotional calendar for multiple channels and customer groups.  
  • Content production: produce all written and procure all photographic, video and illustrative assets for use on multiple channels such as the website, social media, digital and print ads, printed brochure, leaflets and editorial.  
  • Brief creative suppliers including writers, stylists, photographers, designers, illustrators, videographers and animators  
  • Take responsibility for planning and organising photoshoots, managing the shoots on the day and ensure the highest quality assets are received and shared on our channels accordingly
  • Ensure that all creative production is of the highest standards and on brand 
  • Own the look and feel of our various social media channels, scheduling and sharing posts, and take responsibility for growing organic social media in line with agreed targets
  • Organise or attend relevant internal and industry events
  • Drive Marlborough’s visibility in the press through proactively seeking PR opportunities and managing and vetting PR requests that come into the business  
  • Maintain and manage our Press Loft page, including updating images, uploading press releases, and carrying out general upkeep to ensure consistent and engaging brand representation
  • Act as the first point of contact for all influencer partnership requests, building strong working relationships and ensuring a smooth, professional experience
  • Create influencer briefs and define deliverables that align with the brand’s marketing goals and content strategy
  • Managing the library of photographic assets  
  • Ensure the highest standard of copywriting is maintained in line with the ‘Marlborough lens’, both in your own writing and in the work of creative suppliers, such as copywriters and journalists
  • Ensure the highest standard of design is maintained in line with brand values both in your own output and in the work of creative suppliers
  • Keep track of all marketing projects using our project management software, Asana  
  • Work with the product development team on new collections to plan launch campaigns and create supporting collateral  
  • Feed into and take insights from E-Commerce manager’s analytics reporting  
  • Liaise with the E-commerce manager about assets required for paid marketing activities  
  • Be the main point of contact to support retailers and showrooms with branded collateral
  • Be willing to support with site visits, showroom appointments, events and customer phone calls as required 

 

ABOUT YOU

No two days will be the same in this busy role. You will be equally comfortable turning your hand to both the creative and analytical aspects of marketing. This is the role for you if you are:

  • Ambitious, self-motivated and able to take initiative and work independently
  • Excellent at copywriting and have a high level of aesthetic literacy  
  • Confident at creating in-house photography and videography content for use on social media, email and other digital channels
  • Confident in using a suite of social media channels in our brand tone of voice, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Highly organised with the ability to plan and coordinate marketing projects within budget and on-time
  • Good at building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Passionate about interiors and homewares  
  • You will have at least 2+ years of experience in a similar role and be looking to take the next step in your career with more responsibility and potential for career advancement.  
  • Ideally qualified with a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject or relevant CIM qualification
  • Highly computer literate with a good grounding in Microsoft Office products and the knowledge of / ability to quickly learn Dropbox, Mailchimp, Craft CMS, Asana, Canva and tools such as CapCut and Adobe Creative Suite 

 

OUR OFFER

  • Full time - 9am-5:30pm Mon-Thurs & 9am-5pm on Fridays
  • Flexible working, ideally 3-4 days in the office and 1-2 days at home
  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

  • A creative working environment with the potential to work with leading interior designers and partner brands  
  • The role is based in our head office in Marlborough.
