Inspiration
Blue kitchens have long been a favourite in interior design, celebrated for their versatility and timeless appeal. Whether you opt for a deep navy, a soft powder blue, or a striking cobalt, a blue kitchen creates a space that feels both elegant and inviting. But choosing the perfect tiles to complement your blue kitchen can be a challenge. The right tiles will enhance your colour scheme, add texture, and bring depth to your design. As colour experts, we’ve curated a selection of handcrafted tiles that pair beautifully with blue kitchens.
For those who love traditional craftsmanship and timeless design, our Classic Delft Tiles are the perfect choice. Each tile is hand-painted in our Marlborough studio using traditional techniques, ensuring an authentic and exquisite finish. We create our own colours in-house, and our signature Rosalind and Sylvia shades stand out for their depth and vibrancy. The result is a beautifully nuanced collection of tiles that bring a touch of heritage and artistry to any kitchen.
If you’re drawn to intricate patterns and vintage charm, our Wool Ettie tiles from the Ullswater collection offer an elegant solution. This pale grey tile features a delicate, hand piped design on our rustic, artisan biscuit tile. Made using traditional techniques, each tile has an organic finish rich with character, natural imperfections, and rough edges that add warmth and personality to your space. The pattern is carefully applied by hand by our skilled artists before being glazed and finished with a delicate crackle, ensuring that no two tiles are exactly the same.

For a soft, balanced look, our Ana Powder Blue tile is a wonderful option. This 11 x 11cm hand-painted tile was created in collaboration with the Sims Hilditch interior design studio, drawing inspiration from Mediterranean patterns. Featuring a timeless design, finished with a crackle glaze, the Ana collection is made using the highest quality clay, pressed by hand to create a rugged and characterful tile body. Each stroke of the pattern is hand painted into the raw glaze by our skilled artists, giving it an artisan feel that pairs beautifully with blue kitchen cabinetry. The collection is available with either a warm Antique White or a bright Chalk White background, with matching plain tiles available for a cohesive look.
For those seeking a crisp and classic finish, our Underground Covent Garden tile is a beautiful bright white brick tile with a light crackle glaze. Measuring 7.5 x 15cm, this tile is part of our Underground collection, designed to provide a subtle vintage-influenced colour reminiscent of Farrow & Ball’s Wimborne White. With its clean, straight edges, this tile offers a refined and polished finish, making it ideal for both traditional and contemporary kitchens. Whether used as a backsplash or a full wall feature, this tile provides a calming backdrop that lets your blue cabinetry shine.
