Inspiration
A celebration of colour and craftsmanship.
We believe that everyone’s New Year resolution for 2025 should be to lean into richer colours. In fact, the inspiration for the Chroma collection’s name came from celebrating colour in all its glory!
From warm terracottas to bold greens and serene blues, and versatile neutrals, the Chroma collection features eighteen stunning colours that can work harmoniously together or stand boldly on their own.
“We are really fussy when it comes to creating colour,” says Jamie Robb, Marlborough Tiles’ owner. “We make all our colours at our factory in England using techniques which have been handed down for generations. For me, it’s about creating a precise nuance of shade and depth of colour that you won’t find anywhere else.’
The result of this meticulous process is a collection that is both vibrant and versatile. Colours from the Chroma collection can be used on their own or mixed and matched to create adjacent or complementary schemes, as we have done in our Victorian Pink and Tuscan Red kitchen.

Another considered decision by our design team is the 11 x 11cm square format. The clean geometry offers endless versatility, suiting both minimalist and maximalist styles.
As Jamie says, ‘Square tiles may seem plain when compared to their more decorative-shaped cousins, like arabesques or scallops, but their beauty lies in their simplicity. There is a stateliness and a confidence that square tiles possess which equates to boldness, especially when used over large surface areas.”
Low-maintenance and highly durable, our Chroma tiles are as practical as they are beautiful. Ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and high-traffic spaces, they bring effortless style and functionality to your home.
